IT Support Assistant
Bath, South West
We are looking to recruit an IT Support Assistant to join our busy, focused and professional IT Department. Ideally you will have experience of working in an IT Department and full training on internal systems will be given along with continual professional development to ensure that your knowledge and skills remain current and relevant.
Based in our Head Office in Bath you will ensure that end user requests into the IT Helpdesk are answered promptly and professionally, either by telephone, email or in person and escalated internally when appropriate.
You will be able to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults whilst prioritising your workload. Within your duties you will be required to monitor and maintain computer systems and networks and test, research and evaluate new technologies. Knowledge of hardware installation and software upgrades is essential as is developing relationships with external support parties.
AD and CRM directory administration and creation of new user accounts, profiles and password issues are key parts to the job, so accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Working closely with other members of the IT Department you will possess excellent communication skills for reporting and escalation of technical problems providing the relevant teams with precise fault reports
