General Insurance Adviser

Purpose of the role:

To sell a range of general insurance products, by establishing customer needs and selling suitable products to meet those needs whilst ensuring that, at all times, an exceptional level of customer service is provided.

Principle Accountabilities:

To achieve and exceed defined sales and revenue targets by showing a tenacious attitude to close leads, cross sell and up sell at every opportunity.

To achieve defined quality and compliance measures in line with both business and regulatory guidelines.

Ensure our customers are treated fairly at all times and that customers' reasonable expectations of performance and service are met.

To maximise every opportunity to sell products to the customer, by assessing customer needs and matching products and services to those needs to achieve targets.

To have excellent knowledge of the products being sold and a well developed ability to navigate the systems to quote and satisfy the customers needs effectively.

To remain a motivated, positive and enthusiastic member of the team, demonstrating London & Countrys values at all times.

Ensure that all data is correctly entered onto the system, that all processes are followed and that all information given is accurate to achieve an excellent customer experience.

Keep up-to-date on market changes, ensuring that you have a comprehensive knowledge of competitors products to aid you in achieving your sales targets.

Respond to reasonable requests by management , peers, clients or customers in a timely, professional manner.

To undertake any other tasks as required from time to time including administrative or sales related duties.

Minimum Skill List

Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing with clients, colleagues, and business contacts.

Good working knowledge of IT systems relevant to job role.

Excellent product/industry knowledge.

Adhere to company standards and procedures at all times.

Prioritise effectively.

Meet deadlines and ensure work is regularly error free.
