Right now, we’re expanding our Marketing team and taking on a Marketing Executive. Join us as we head into an exciting new period of growth.


The role

A mortgage is the biggest financial commitment most people make in their lives, which is why they turn to experts like L&C for guidance. The Marketing team at L&C is all about making sure our customers and potential customers receive the right information at the right time. As Marketing Executive, you’ll be a crucial part of the customer’s online experience, using our Marketing platform to send automated communications via email and SMS.

You’ll be creating workflows which send links to online tools and guides, lets customers know when they could save money by remortgaging, and gets all-important feedback on our service.

You’ll be a key user of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, helping us launch bigger and better automated campaigns and being the gatekeeper of quality on any customer journey changes. You’ll help us regularly review our communications to make sure everything stays compliant, relevant and up to date. You’ll also be generating regular reporting on our campaigns and their success.

Another key part of your role will be the day to day maintenance of L&C’s customer referrals programme – from answering any queries to helping spread the word to our Mortgage Adviser and Case Manager teams.



FCA Certification Regime & Conduct Rules

L&C is authorised and regulated by the FCA and is classified as an Enhanced Firm under the Senior Manager’s and Certification Regime (SM&CR). This role is subject to the 5 FCA Conduct rules and you will be expected to adhere to them at all times if successful in your application.



About you

We’re looking for someone who’s a confident user of email delivery platforms (previous Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience would be an advantage) and can get straight to work on our customer journeys. You can always count on the support of your colleagues in the Marketing team and there is training available on our system but we’d like you to be able to pick things up quickly and bring some of your own expertise.

We’ve got big plans to grow and improve our marketing communications, so you’ll need great prioritisation skills to max-out on productivity and results without compromising on quality. You’ll be able to work effectively as part of a team but also on your own initiative and deliver projects to a great standard.

You’ll be keen to keep learning and try new things and passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience. But you’ll also be able to see the bigger picture and be capable of applying caution and mitigating risks (we work in a regulated industry after all).

You may have a marketing qualification or you may be self-taught, but either way you’ll have experience and be able to evidence your achievements in email marketing.
