Right now, we’re expanding our offices and taking on Sales Call Handlers. This is your chance to be a part of that growth. 

The role

  • Your main responsibility will be to act as the first point of contact for customers calling in to discuss a range of products and services, building rapport whilst ensuring you maintain a courteous and friendly telephone manner.
  • Achieve performance standards that generate the best customer outcomes befitting the company values and behaviour.
  • Be part of a team that are the main lead source for L&C, your role will therefore be to take inbound and make outbound calls, ensuring that customers are set up and ready to transfer to an adviser.
  • Build relationships within the wider L&C business, a crucial element in allowing us to work as one team in building towards a common goal of ensuring the customer is supported from start to finish.
  • You will be supported and trained to attain the level needed to give our customers the service we expect.
  • Interact in a professional and engaging manner, as part of the role you will have an agreed number of calls monitored for development, allowing us to ensure that the high standards expected are met.
  • To complete all required administration in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To undertake any other task as required from time to time.

FCA certification regime and conduct rules 

L&C is authorised and regulated by the FCA and is classified as an Enhanced Firm under the Senior Manager’s and Certification Regime (SM&CR). This role is subject to the 5 FCA Conduct rules and you will be expected to adhere to them at all times if successful in your application. 

About you

As the first point of contact for all our clients entering L&C, you’ll be a friendly, approachable and efficient individual. With excellent customer service and communication skills, you’ll be assisting new clients with the first step of their L&C journey, and reassuring old clients we’re still the best broker around for their new enquiries. Attention to detail is key, as the 
information you receive from clients will form the basis of their journey with us.
