1. The prize is the equivalent of 3 months’ mortgage payments up to £4,336. In the event the winner is mortgage free, they will win a cash prize of £4,336. This is based on our average customer’s monthly mortgage payments at 24^thJuly 2025. One winner will be chosen by the public from a shortlist of 3-5 entries received between Thursday 14th August 2025 and Sunday 30th November 2025.

2. All entrants must have completed on at least one mortgage through L&C Mortgages by the closing date (Sunday 30^th November 2025).

3. The winner must produce mortgage paperwork as evidence for their monthly payments in order to claim the cash prize. If the winner is mortgage free, then a mortgage closing statement should be provided.

4. The giveaway is open to residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over, excluding employees or agencies of London & Country Mortgages (“L&C Mortgages”, the “Promoter” or “us”), or anyone else connected to the giveaway.

5. Entrants into the giveaway shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. 

6. To enter the giveaway, you must submit your homeownership story to L&C via the website (www.landc.co.uk), using the prompts provided and include a photo.

7. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted. 

8. L&C Mortgages accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by L&C Mortgages. 

9. The giveaway opens on Thursday 14th August 2025 and closes at midnight on Sunday 30th November 2025. Entries outside of this time period will not be considered. 

10. The winner will be selected by way of a public vote from a shortlist of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The vote will take place within 14 days of the closing date.

11. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email and will be required to share their bank details for payment of the cash prize. Upon acceptance of the prize, the winner’s story & photo will be posted on L&C’s social media channels, website and newsletter. The decision of the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the winner does not respond to L&C Mortgages within 30 days of being notified of their win, the winner’s cash prize will be forfeited and given to charity. If a winner rejects their prize, removes consent for sharing their story, or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, the winner’s cash prize will be forfeited and given to charity. 

12. L&C Mortgages will supply the winner with the prize, which will be transferred to their bank account within 21 days of a valid winning claim.

13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for any other prize.

14. The winner will be required to consent to promotional activity related to the giveaway and the winner shall participate in such activity at the Promoter’s reasonable request. The winner consents to the use by the Promoter and it's related companies, both before and after the closing date of the giveaway for a period of 90 days, of the winner’s voice, image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by the Promoter and their related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the giveaway, all entrants consent to the same.

15. The promoter is London & Country Mortgages Ltd (L&C), Unit 26 (2.06) Newark Works, 2 Foundry Lane, Bath BA2 3GZ.

16. The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at https://www.landc.co.uk/about-us/privacy-statement and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the giveaway, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your giveaway entry, and for the purposes outlined above.

17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the giveaway or accepting the prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter under law for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury resulting from it's negligence.

18. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue temporarily or permanently, this giveaway with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of the Promoter in all matters relating to the giveaway is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

19. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with it's obligations relating to this giveaway where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

20. The giveaway and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the Giveaway submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
