Up to 6 months mortgage free terms & conditions
1. The prize is the equivalent of 6 months’ mortgage payments up to a maximum value of £7,665 (which will be paid as a lump sum to cover the full 6 month period). This is based on our average customer’s monthly mortgage payments based on residential applications in the 90 days preceding 3rd June 2026. One winner will be drawn at random from all qualifying entries received between 8am on the 14th July 2026 and 8pm on the 14th October 2026.
2. To be eligible for the promotion, you must have received a formal mortgage recommendation from an L&C adviser between 8am 14th July 2026 and 8pm 14th October 2026 and have provided L&C with all of the information necessary to make a successful mortgage application to the recommended lender no later than 8pm on the 14th October 2026. Additionally, when the draw takes place on 2nd December 2026 you must have either completed on the mortgage that was applied for or still have a valid mortgage offer in place that has not expired, been withdrawn, cancelled or otherwise ceased to be available.'

4. The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees, officers, directors, contractors and agents of London & Country Mortgages ("L&C Mortgages", the "Promoter" or "us"), any of its, subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other companies within its group, and the immediate families (including spouses, civil partners, parents, children and siblings) and members of the same household (whether related or not) of any such persons.
5. Entrants into the promotion shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
6. Entry to the draw is only available to customers purchasing or remortgaging their main residential property. Mortgages being taken on property being purchased with a Buy to Let mortgage or where the intention is to let the property out are excluded from this promotion.
7. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
8. The winner will be selected by way of a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place on 2nd December 2026.
9. The winner will be notified by email no later than 9th December 2026. The decision of L&C Mortgages in relation to the promotion and the selection of winners shall be final. However, nothing in these terms shall prevent entrants from raising legitimate queries or complaints regarding the promotion, nor shall it limit L&C Mortgages' obligation to provide information or evidence to regulatory bodies, including the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), where required by applicable law, regulation or the CAP Code.If the winner does not respond to L&C Mortgages within 14 days of being notified of their win confirming the bank details they would like the prize to be paid, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and L&C Mortgages shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and L&C Mortgages shall be entitled to select another winner.
10. L&C Mortgages will supply the winner with the prize, which will be transferred to their bank account no later than 31st January 2027.
11. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for any other prize.
12. The Promoter may invite the winner to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion. Participation in any such publicity is voluntary and will be subject to the winner's prior agreement.
If the winner agrees to participate in publicity, the winner may be asked to sign a separate consent and release form at that time. Subject to such consent, the winner agrees that the Promoter may use the winner's name, image, photograph, voice and likeness for the purpose of administering, publicising and reporting on the promotion, and for related marketing communications concerning the promotion, in any media (including online and social media channels) for a period of up to 90 days following the closing date of the promotion, without additional compensation.
For the avoidance of doubt, entry into the promotion does not constitute consent to participate in publicity, and any publicity consent will be requested separately from the winner if required.
13. The Promoter may publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. This information will ordinarily comprise the winner's surname and county of residence.
Any entrant may object to all or part of their surname and county being published or made available or may request that the amount of information published be reduced. Such requests should be made to the Promoter using the contact details set out in these Terms and Conditions.
14. The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at https://www.landc.co.uk/about-us/privacy-statement and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the promotion, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your promotion entry, and for the purposes outlined above.
15 Subject to clause 15.1, the Promoter will not be responsible for any loss, damage, liability, injury or disappointment suffered by an entrant as a result of entering the promotion or accepting or using a prize, except where such loss, damage, liability, injury or disappointment is caused by the Promoter's negligence or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
15.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits the Promoter's liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
(c) any matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude or limit liability; or
(d) any loss or damage arising from the Promoter's breach of these Terms and Conditions where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
15.2 The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, its obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure or delay arises from events beyond its reasonable control.
16. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue temporarily or permanently, this promotion with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of the Promoter in all matters relating to the promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. Entry Limits, Joint Applications and Disqualification
Each eligible customer is entitled to one (1) entry into the promotion in respect of one eligible mortgage application. Where a mortgage application is made jointly by two or more applicants, only one (1) entry will be allocated to that mortgage application. If a joint application is selected as the winning entry, the prize will be awarded and communicated to the primary applicant named on the application only, who will be responsible for accepting the prize on behalf of all applicants.
The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry or entrant that it reasonably believes to be incomplete, inaccurate, ineligible, fraudulent, misleading, submitted through misuse of the promotion, or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may also disqualify any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intended operation of the promotion.
18. The promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the Promotion submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
