Purpose of the role:
This role requires confidence in dealing with clients on the telephone and the handling of high call volumes as well as providing quality advice in an empathetic manner.
An ability and willingness to proactively outbound call with a view to generating protection leads.
To follow up existing clients of the company with a view to providing appropriate advice during the lifetime of the protection policy previously supplied to them and/or with a view to the provision of further products and/or services where appropriate.
To follow up on previously missed protection opportunities.
To receive inbound protection only leads and convert these at a high level.
Willingness to trial new protection products and areas of advice.
The ability to maintain a consistently high level of activity with sufficient clients to meet and/or exceed agreed activity targets.
To gather all appropriate information so that the most suitable protection advice can be provided to the customer and evidenced in accordance with the companys sales process.
Focus on customer care and consideration to ensure that policies remain in place.
To undertake any other task as required from time to time including administrative or sales related duties.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Minimum Skill List
Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing with clients, colleagues, and business contacts.
Good working knowledge of IT systems relevant to job role.
Excellent product/industry knowledge.
Adhere to company standards and procedures at all times.
Sufficient depth of technical knowledge to operate efficiently with a low level of supervision.
Meet deadlines and ensure work is regularly error free.
Make confident, effective decisions within scope of job role.
Actively participate and co-operate with others.
Build effective relationships and contribute to team spirit.
Negotiate effectively with colleagues and outside agencies.

Provide some coaching/support to team members.
Have completed External Supervisors course.
