L&C joins Mortgage Sleep Out to help the homeless

L&C will be taking part in the first ever Mortgage Sleep Out on Friday 30th November to help highlight the issue of homelessness across the UK.

The event will bring together people working across the mortgage industry to help raise funds for the national End Youth Homelessness charity which supports 30,000 homeless young people every year.

Who we’re raising money for

According to official figures, it’s estimated that around 4,750 people sleep rough on any given night in the UK.

It costs around £25 a day to put a roof over a young person’s head and give them the healthcare, education and employment that can help them turn their lives around.

We’re raising money for three charities which help people out of homelessness. These are End Youth Homelessness, and two local homelessness support charities, Julian House in Bath and the Key Project in Newcastle.
