Who are we?

L&C Mortgages - Voted the UK's best mortgage broker.

Founded in 1999 as a fee free telephone based mortgage broker - free to call and free to use our advice and service. We moved into our office in Bath and launched our first website in 2001. Winning our first award for best mortgage broker in 2002, we’ve gone from strength to strength, with further offices in Newcastle Upon Tyne and London, and over 2 million people coming to us for advice on the best mortgage for them.

Today we have received over 160 awards and offer both online and telephone support. And we remain proudly fee free.

Our chosen charity

We’re proud to support our company charity, Winston’s Wish, the UK's leading childhood bereavement charity. Every year Winston’s Wish need to raise over £2.4 million to provide practical help and support to children suffering the loss of a parent or sibling.

In a nutshell

We’re here for you from application all the way through to completion, and the best bit is we won't charge you a fee for our advice and support. We'll search across the market with access to 1000s of deals from over 90 lenders, so we'll be sure to find the right deal for you.

Wondering how our service is fee free? Like all other brokers, we receive a payment from the lender when the mortgage completes. The difference is that we simply choose not to charge our customers a fee on top of this.
