My partner did some research for remortgaging our help to buy home as the 5 year interest free period was coming to an end. We were a little skeptical because we’d previously paid £300-500 for a mortgage advisor, and family members warned us that a big firm like L&C won’t keep us informed or even know our names, but we were so pleasantly surprised!
